The Hershey Gardens

The Hershey Gardens websiteThe
Hershey Gardens were begun by Mrs. Milton Hershey. There is a children's
section with activities for the kids. There's also a butterfly garden that
is open in season. During the summer months there's an extensive
collection of roses and tulips. If you go bring your walking shoes
and plan on spending at least two hours to go through the various gardens.
The gardens are located near the Hershey Hotel.  |

Hershey museum is small but very interesting. It is dedicated
to the life of Milton Hershey, the founder of Hershey chocolates. It
documents his life and philanthropies as well as the manufacture of
chocolate and life in the factories throughout the decades. There's
a children's room with interactive exhibits for the kids.
Try to plan your visits so you'll be there
on the hour. There's a magnificent clock on display and it is
worthwhile to catch its performance.
You can also have your pictures taken in a
roller-coaster car .  |
