The Ephrata Cloister was a religious society along the lines of the Shakers Another similar movements of the 1800's.  The cloister is a collection of remarkably preserved buildings that documents the way that the society lived.

Hershey's chocolate world is a ride that takes you through the various stages in making and the history of the chocolate industry.  You'll see working reproductions of the The quick meant and processes used to make chocolate.

The Hershey Gardens were begun by Mrs. Milton Hershey. There is a children's section with activities for the kids. There's also a butterfly garden that is open in season.  During the summer months there's an extensive collection of roses and tulips.  If you go bring your walking shoes and plan on spending at least two hours to go through the various gardens. 

The gardens are located near  the Hershey Hotel.

The Hershey museum is  small but very interesting.  It is dedicated to the life of Milton Hershey, the founder of Hershey chocolates.  It documents his life and philanthropies as well as the manufacture of chocolate and life in the factories throughout the decades.  There's a children's room with interactive exhibits for the kids. 

Try to plan your visits so you'll be there on the hour.  There's a magnificent clock on display and it is worthwhile to catch its performance. 

You can also have your pictures taken in a roller-coaster car .

The Pennsylvania renaissance Faire is open seasonally.  It is as large scale recreation of renaissance life including Shakespearean plays, jousting, and other aspects of the period.  If you go be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved.
