Accommodations in Pennsylvania Dutch Country
Pennsylvania's Dutch Country covers a fair amount of territory. Your choice of accommodations will depend on your budget and the attractions you want to visit. The main centers of activity are:
- The Lancaster area, Downtown Lancaster has it's own attractions but there is a lot to do in the nearby towns such as Strasburg, Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse and others.
- Hershey - Hershey is at the fringes of Dutch Country. The main attractions there are the Hershey Park and Zoo. If you are staying in Hershey, you should consider the Hotel Hershey for superb accommodations (yet they are kid friendly)
Places to Stay:
- Bed and Breakfasts - Pennsylvania Dutch Country has numerous Bed and Breakfasts scattered throughout the countryside. Many of them have restrictions on children.
- Hotels and Motels - The Bigger chains can be found in near Lancaster and Hershey as well as near the Pennsylvania Turnpike Exits.
- Campgrounds - Bring your camper, RV or tent.
